3 Cases of Acute Mastoiditis

Abstract
|
|
|
The incidence of acute mastoiditis has declined precipitously since the introduction of effective antimicrobial agents for the treatment of acute otitis media. But still the frequency of serious complications from acute mastoiditis has not declined due to inadequate use of antimicrobial agents and improper management.
In the present paper we provide 3 cases of acute mastoiditis to discuss the clinicopathologic features and the therapeutic implication.
